The CBIT Advanced Certificate in Human Resource Management is equivalent to Level 7. It equips learners with substantial knowledge in Human Resource Management, preparing them for their careers as junior leaders or managers.

CBIT adopts level descriptors that are consistent with those of other recognised awarding bodies and professional organisations.  This approach clearly understands the depth of study and complexity associated with each certification level. There are no formal entry requirements to enrol in the CBIT Advanced Certificate in Human Resource Management. However, CBIT expect learners to meet the following criteria:

  • Learners should be 18 years of age or over.
  • The CBIT Advanced Certificate is level 7 equivalent, and hence, the learners must be able to complete the programme at this level.
  • Learners should have considerable competency in English.

CBIT programmes are designed to enhance learners' skills and knowledge. Upon successfully completing the CBIT Advanced Certificate in Human Resource Management, learners can advance to further studies within the Advanced in Human Resource Management programmes suite, such as progressing to an Advanced Diploma. Additionally, learners may wish to continue their personal and professional development by exploring other CBIT programmes, such as the CBIT Advanced programmes, equivalent to 7.

 

All assessments are employer-driven, relevant, practitioner-based, and appropriate for business needs.

Assessments consist of a written assignment and a reflective report for each module, offering an excellent opportunity for in-depth learning. There are no exams involved.

To succeed, learners must thoroughly review the assignment brief and fully understand the requirements before beginning their work. To achieve a ' Pass ' for each module, learners must satisfactorily meet all the requirements specified for the assessment criteria and fulfil all the learning outcomes. 

Grading will be applied to each module as well as to the overall certification.

It indicates how managers and leaders in organisations need to recognise that corporate decisions and HR choices are not always shaped by managers alone but by internal and external forces.

This module focuses on the effective use and management of resources and talent within an organisation to ensure long-term success. It covers various aspects related to acquiring, developing, and retaining talented individuals and efficiently using organisational resources.

This module recognises the importance of human resources to the successful operation of organisations but will emphasise the strategic aspects of human resource management (HRM) that influence the development of organisations in different contexts. The module is intended to provide an opportunity to review models, theories and concepts underpinning Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM) and current trends and issues in strategic HRM to make positive contributions to sustainable organisational change and growth from an HR perspective.

This module enables learners to understand the main elements that influence the performance of employees at all levels within an organisation and how such elements can be managed constructively. It also provides learners the knowledge to devise and implement appropriate HR practices and strategies related to Performance Management. This module aims to ensure learners understand the importance and complexities around Human Resource Development (HRD). The module will advance learners' understanding of human resource development at three levels: societal, organisational, and individual employee levels.
